Development Partnerships in Higher Education (DelPHE) project is supporting a partnership between Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and Tanzania Library Services Board (TLSB) in Tanzania, Partnerships in Health Information (PHI), Thames Valley University and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in UK. Together they work to develop a sound Health Information at MUHAS and TLSB.
The project has already established two Health Information Corners at MUHAS Library and TLSB in Tanzania. The aim of these Health Information Corners is to offer helpful advice and resources for health and medical conditions in Tanzania.
More information is added on a regular basis.
More Health Information Corners are being implemented at the public libraries in Dodoma and Morogoro.
Health Corners: DelpHE funds support have helped to acquire and processing health information resources for the library users at the library. Individuals are aware of how the library might be a useful organ in disseminating health information especially to the public libraries.
