A Workshop on Institutional Repository and Web 2.0 Technologies
Once again, the Directorate of Library Services through SIDA project is organizing a training workshop on institutional repository and web 2.0 technologies which will be held from 25th to 26thJune, 2015.
The purpose of this training is to impart to participants advanced skills on how to use MUHAS institutional repository especially on submission of their publications to MUHAS IR. The workshop will also introduce participants to online resources and technical skills on how to to use web 2.0 technologies such as dropbox, G-drive e.g. googldocs, google forms
The training will be conducted at MUHAS Library Computer Lab from 10 am to 1 pm. The course is open to all faculty members at MUHAS.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- How to upload research outputs to MUHAS repository.
- Evidence based databases TRIP, Cochrane.
- Use of web 2.0 technologies e.g. drop box, G-Drive including googledocs, google forms.
- Open access resources.
